As with most ventures the road to success usually starts with a carefully laid out plan. When choosing how you want to letter your trailer this is an important step. You will probably be using your trailer with this design for years to come. A trailer is an excellent source for marketing. It is literally a portable bill board. It is worth taking the time to prepare a proper plan.

The following are some steps you should consider when planning the ultimate trailer lettering plan.

What do you want to accomplish with your ad? What is your end game? Are you looking for a phone call or are you simply looking for brand recognition?
What is your budget for the project? Are you looking for an inexpensive solution to put a message on your trailer? Or are you looking to really make a statement using a full color wrap?
Plan for adequate time. It is worth the wait. Do not rush your project. Make sure each step is done with care.
We highly recommend that you have your trailer designed by a professional. This may cost extra. However it could mean the difference between true success and random results.
A picture is truly worth a thousand words. We recommend that you include some form of graphics in your design. A person driving by is much more likely to understand what you do if you have an eye popping graphic instead of a dictionary.
Of course make sure it is readable. Too much information can make the entire design un-readable. Our advice is to make your message short and bold. If you want to put more info like product lists make this smaller and keep it out of the way of your main message.
